Novu is operated by independent sellers based in Los Angeles, California.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
You agree not to use our products or services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
A breach of these Terms may result in immediate termination of services.
2. Products & Descriptions
Novu sells interior, exterior, LED, and solar lighting products.
Product images, descriptions, specifications, and colors are provided for reference and may vary slightly due to supplier changes, manufacturing updates, lighting conditions, or screen displays.
We do not guarantee that product descriptions or other content are error-free, complete, or current, though we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy.
Product Variations Disclaimer
Actual product appearance, color, brightness, size perception, and finish may vary slightly from images displayed on our website due to lighting conditions, manufacturing variations, monitor settings, or environmental factors.
Such variations are normal and do not constitute product defects or misrepresentation.
Customers are responsible for reviewing product specifications, measurements, and descriptions before purchasing.
3. Supplier & Fulfillment Disclaimer
Some products sold on Novu may be fulfilled by third-party suppliers or manufacturers.
As a result, packaging, branding, product markings, or minor product details may vary slightly from images displayed on our website.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we reserve the right to substitute a comparable product of equal or greater value, offer a replacement, or issue a refund.
These variations or substitutions do not constitute a defect or misrepresentation of the product.
4. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD).
Prices are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product at any time.
Payment must be received in full before an order is processed and shipped.
5. Pricing Errors
While we strive to ensure accurate pricing and product information, errors may occasionally occur.
Novu reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order placed for a product listed at an incorrect price due to typographical errors, technical issues, or supplier pricing changes.
If such an error occurs, we will notify the customer and issue a full refund if payment has already been processed.
6. Order Cancellation & Fraud Prevention
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion.
Orders may be canceled due to suspected fraud, inaccurate pricing, stock availability issues, payment verification failures, or other circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling the order.
If an order is canceled after payment has been processed, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
7. Shipping & Delivery
We currently ship within the United States only.
Estimated delivery times typically range from 5–20 business days, though some orders may arrive sooner or later depending on supplier availability, carrier performance, or external factors.
Shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed.
Novu is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
8. Returns & Refunds
We offer a 30-day return policy under the following conditions:
Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery.
Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging.
We reserve the right to deny returns for items showing signs of use, installation, damage, or modification.
Return shipping costs are covered by Novu unless otherwise stated.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the returned item has been received and inspected.
Certain items may be non-returnable for safety or hygiene reasons. These exclusions will be clearly stated on the product page when applicable.
Return Condition Enforcement
Products that have been installed, used, modified, or returned without original packaging may be rejected or subject to a partial refund at our discretion.
Items returned in a condition different from how they were originally shipped may incur restocking fees or be denied a refund.
9. Installation & Use Disclaimer
Installation of lighting products is the responsibility of the customer.
Novu is not liable for damages, injuries, or losses caused by improper installation, misuse, modification, or failure to follow provided instructions.
We strongly recommend professional installation where applicable.
10. Electrical Compliance Disclaimer
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all lighting products are installed in compliance with local electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards applicable in their area.
Certain lighting fixtures may require installation by a licensed electrician or qualified professional depending on local regulations.
Novu is not responsible for damages, injuries, inspection failures, or code violations resulting from improper installation or failure to comply with local electrical requirements.
11. Solar Lighting Disclaimer
Solar lighting performance depends on sunlight exposure, weather conditions, geographic location, and seasonal variations.
Battery life and brightness levels may vary and naturally degrade over time.
These variations are not considered defects.
12. Warranty
All products include a Standard Manufacturer Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of delivery, unless otherwise stated on the product page.
This warranty applies only to manufacturing defects and does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, modification, accidents, normal wear and tear, or failure to follow installation instructions.
If a product is found to be defective within the warranty period, Novu may provide a replacement, repair, or partial refund at our discretion.
To submit a warranty claim, customers must contact support@novuhome.com and provide their order number along with photos or documentation of the issue.
13. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
Customers agree to contact Novu directly before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or payment provider.
We are committed to resolving customer concerns quickly and fairly.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting our support team may delay resolution and may result in additional verification requests regarding the order.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Novu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
All products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, unless otherwise stated.
15. Dispute Resolution & Binding Arbitration
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the purchase or use of our products shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court.
Arbitration shall be conducted within the State of California.
By agreeing to these Terms, you waive the right to participate in class actions, class arbitrations, or jury trials.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Novu from any claim or demand arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of products, or violation of any law or third-party rights.
